Chicken Man

Ernest Lee (aka - the chicken man) is a local artist in South Carolina. He's known for his chicken paintings...I love the palm trees too. These are 4 of his paintings hanging in my office. I think the chickens work in the office - maybe not in my home! I think I'd like a few more palm trees for the house...just need to find a good place.

The newest member of the Bowie family arrived last Tuesday...we hope Kerry and Hunter anre getting some sleep. It appears big brother already likes his little sister Raley!

My Grammie is patiently waiting for several photos I mailed of Bennett.  In the meantime I gave her our blog website and she's headed to the library to see the little guy!

Ahhh...Mental Health Day

I am enjoying a 3 day weekend. I took today (Monday) off to enjoy a mental health day. I got up late and headed the the spa for a massage, then Trice and I enjoyed a walk before lunch. DJ came home for lunch with us and now I'm catching up on facebook, blogs and other favorite websites. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow - 6 meetings scheduled!

New Glasses

I'm sporting a new pair of reading glasses. I am supposed to wear them when I'm looking a the computer and reading...I think they are pretty cute and trendy!

Snow in South Carolina

It occasionally happens and some of South Carolina got snow...just not where we live. The weatherman kept saying we were going to get between 3 and 5 inches of snow. I was looking forward to having a snow day and being "stuck" inside. Instead we got rain... Some of our friends in the upstate enjoyed the snow day - look at Beattie playing in the snow! We are so jealous!
