My Own Garden

When DJ's parents were in town a couple weeks ago, we planted a garden. Instead of digging out the backyard we used pots...if the garden thing doesn't work out I didn't want to mess up the back yard. If the plants bear fruit we'll post pictures!

Fun In Waco

I enjoyed the trip to Waco, but am happy to be home. Last night they had their end of the year dinner. It was a lot of fun. They are sweet girls and I wish the seniors well...

New Friends

Tripp and Carter had a chance to play together twice on Saturday. We went to visit the newest addition to the Bowie family and the boys hit it off. The Bowie's came over to Kimberly & Tillman's house for dinner Saturday night and the boys got to play together again. They might have to get together more often...

Home Sweet Home

Nationals are finished...the University of Georgia won the title and I'm heading home! It's been a pretty good week in Waco, I just wish there were a few more wins, maybe different judges and a title for the Gamecocks. I'm looking forward to seeing the hubby and Trice tomorrow.

Heading to Waco

I am off to Waco, Texas with our equestrian team. We hope to come home this year victorious...it's always more fun to win! Below is a picture from one of the equestrian team promotions...maybe dad could help us ride on to victory!

Well not exactly, but DJ and his dad fixed the awful spindles on the deck! YEA... Now not only does it look so much better but it's safer.

Happy Easter

We enjoyed a visit this weekend by DJ's parents and their new addition, Carob a 3 month old black lab. We are glad they drove down to visit us!

Spring Game

I can't believe football is wrapping up spring practice. That means the fall is fast approaching... Tillman had the opportunity to join me on the field before one of our games this fall. There was a flyover before this game...if I can get the picture from him I'll post it. It's a pretty cool shot.

Chicken Man

Ernest Lee (aka - the chicken man) is a local artist in South Carolina. He's known for his chicken paintings...I love the palm trees too. These are 4 of his paintings hanging in my office. I think the chickens work in the office - maybe not in my home! I think I'd like a few more palm trees for the house...just need to find a good place.
